History of the GMSHRM Diversity & Inclusion Awards

The GMSHRM Diversity and Inclusion Awards (originally titled the GMSHRM Diversity Awards) is an annual event that recognizes organizations and individuals for best practices (in South Florida) in diversity and inclusion.

These Diversity and Inclusion Award winners are seen as leaders who promote excellence in the workplace; these are individuals and companies that  foster an inclusive work environment in which all employees are inspired to contribute their best, strengthened by their different perspectives, backgrounds and life experiences.

The winner(s) of the Awards is selected from online nominee submissions made to the GMSHRM Diversity Committee one to three months prior to the award ceremony.  The awards are given out at the GMSHRM October Dinner Meeting, a meeting dedicated to the theme of Inclusion.
